radiator question

on this new calais the bloody radiator cap doesnt go on properly. you put it on and it just turns and turns and turns. :x i got a new radiator cap but didnt fix it so its the radiator bit thats the problem. anyone had this prob and have an easy fix or is it an excuse to get like a 3 core radiator or something.

The lip that it locks onto must be out of shape. Not an excuse to get a new radiator.
