When I'm driving in a straight line my steering wheel is pointing at about 11 o'clock (slightly to the left). Is this just a matter of taking the steering wheel of and repositioning it slightly to the right? Or is it not that straight forward? (No punt intended!!!)

Yep.. if ur wheels have been aligned and the wheel is now a lil out, its just a matter of repositioning the steering rack, by jumping a few teeth, and correcting it to dead straight.

Thanks YelLO ChAsR. This might be a really dumb question but I have to ask "How do I go about reposition the steering rack?"

simply take off your horn and undo the nuts. The hardest part will be trying to get the steering wheel off ! trust me especially if its the stock wheel reposition it then do the nitz back up, have fun! -Jay Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

W A R N I N G please be careful when removing the steering wheel, undo nut that holds steering wheel on, dont take off completely tho. You will find that you have to yank like fark to get the steering wheel off, if your pulling VERY hard and the steering wheel comes flying back at you and you dont have that nut on still you will have a 95% chance of breaking your nose. Just a little friendly advice as I almost took my head off when I first did this Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Easy fixed use a rubber mallet and hit it from behind from side to side, comes off very easy and thats with a stocl calais wheel too

The other way would be to use a steering wheel puller, that way you dont damage your face or the steering wheel itself. Mick

Thanks everyone for your comments. For some reason I was under the impression (from YelLO ChAsR post) that I needed to make an adjustment to the steering rack itself, hence my question how do I ...? Thanks again guys. Cheers, Matt.
