This is a question for those who have turbo autos. I understand that turbo autos are capable of hitting 90k's in first gear, so what revs does your gearbox shift from first to second gear? and from second to third gear? At full throttle of course. Do they also use a "turbo version" auto computer? The seperate control module i mean. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

my old one shifted 1st -> 2nd at about 80 - 85. dunno about 2nd -> 3rd though rarely did that at full throttle.

i do about 80km 1st-2nd about 160km 2nd-3rd

Mine did around 95 (by the speedo) in first, that was at fuel cut-off which I think is 6,400 Mark

i would tell you but it was having trouble moving at 10kmh never mind 90. could have something to do with the imprint of a camry on the left side. 8O

ok i got around 80 to 90 in first 140 to 150 in 2nd 210 to 220 in 3rd cant test 4th car to gutless atm the drive train is stock and this was done o in the comfine of a race track and if u have some other questions about stuff like this go to http://www.turbofast.com.au/javacalc.html for good calcalacations :P o and 200kph 4th at about 3200rpm :P

cheers fellas, now i don't suppose anyone knows about turbo 700 gearboxes? The ones that came in commos after VL's? oh well off to the other commos section :P
