Most definatly worth it! I did the conversion on my NA VL, and does it go now! but compliance? whats that?? I've still gotta tell my insurance company, but thats all i'm going to bother about. I couldn't picture a cop pulling you over, and looking up the chasis number to see if your cars ment to be an auto or manual.

yeah i brought the gearbox out of a n/a VL wreck...... u can use different gearboxes but u need an adaptor plate or somethin.. not 2 sure about that.. but for the auto to manual conversion in the n/a the basic parts that u need are the gearbox the manual tailshaft the clutch pedal (which will fit into the auto pedal box) know how to bridge the auto selector (wiring job) this allows u to start the car as it thinks that the auto(wiring) is always in neutral... the manual computer (ecu) is optional... u dont "have" to have it then like ur slave cylinder, master cylinder to go with the clutch etc.. and thats basically it mate... cheers

Thats about it, the wiring job is pritty basic, its just a matter of finding what wires to short out, i found it by trial and error.
