I have an na vl 5speed with 2 1/2" exhaust, punched (oh i mean 'hi-flowed") cat, extractors, and cold air intake (with old air intake holes sealed) 1st = about 65-70 2nd = about 105-110 3rd = about 140-150 4th = about 190ish at 5300rpm (fastest i have taken her) 5th = not enough road left lol but i am estimating about 220-230 i used to have a 3:08 diff out of a v8 vl and i could get about 85-90 out of 1st lol that diff is no longer with us

I've had the VL round at 190 and she was revving pretty high. It coulda gone higher though. The VS has only been round to 160 on bald tyres.

At high speed with standard suspension, the VL's feel like youre driving a blob of jelly. I dont like to take mine over 150.

85 would be killing my auto 120 (no offence of of course) but really 120, you'd be hearing nice grinding sounds comiing from your gearbox Maybe you meant 2nd? *edit, fixed my spelling Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

120, you should be changing from second to third at that speed with the NA auto.
