Hi, It may sound like a silly question. But I was wondering if it's possible to replace the VL dash/head with the VN Dash/head. Why? It looks much nice than the VL commodores. Guys! Don't flame me!!! Or is there any other dash/head I could replace the VL with? Just let me know. Thanks.

From what I know you can't replace the VL Dash with a Dash from another car, probably because they're physically a different shape and the electronics would be different. I suppose it would be possible to do a conversion of the electronics and the Spedo, but that sounds like too much hard work. Besides, the VL Dash does look rather retro... 8) I know of one place that sells different Alternative Dashes for VLs, the Web Site is www.SSV.com.au (Personally I think the original looks better than what they have, but its all personal opinion)

i've seen a VK with a full VR interior. The dash needs to be cut and shut to fit as the interior of the VR is wider than the VL. VN onwards were wider.

Got any pictures of that VK commodore. I just want to see what it looks like. Just incase I do something like that and it doesn't look good for me.
