I dont really know. I guess somewhere around 7 seconds upwards. N/A's aren't great off the line.

feels pretty quick actually -- as soon as it gets past 30km/h or so it starts to pull a fair bit harder I'd say 6-7 seconds or somewhere around there (at a guess)
edit: okay it's no where near 6 seconds.. ignore me

Chriz: Its quite simple ..... you just tell your mum what I told my parents when I was on my L's ... ' What the f!@# is it to you if I wanna pull some sick ass moves in mah fully wak VL!?!?! ' :P
On a more serious note, whats with the all the N/A 1/4 mile, 1/10th mile, 1/25.2th time threads that seem to be everywhere lately?

Who knows... and quite frankly I don't care -- it's not fast enough to bother bragging about every 5 mins (much)... now if it was a turbo, maybe

7 seconds? no way! I think the vl turbos quoted 0-100km/h was somthing around 8.0 off the top of my head. I did it in around 9 when i had my auto, i'm hoping to be in the mid to high 8's now with the 5 speed and a few minor mods.

I was just guessing okay!
I will do a dodgy rough stopwatch of it at some time -- it's pretty hard to judge you have to agree though

Standard N/A autos do it in mid 9's. Turbo autos in low 8's, manual high 7's. These are factory figures. I can vouch for the N/A auto figures, found my turbo auto was high 6's with intercooler and about 3-4psi more boost.

One of my Vl's (before I crashed it) did it as an auto in about 9-9.5 secs, converted it to a manual & shaved a second off that time, the manuals pull quicker off the line.

I tried it with a stop watch a few days ago and it was consistantly 7-8 seconds (unless my speedo is out).
