I have currently got a stock VLT. The clutch that is in it now slips sometimes when i do a really hard take off (its ok all of the other time). I am thinking of upping the boost to 12psi. Would a new stock clutch hold up or would you recommend going for a more heavy duty clutch, if heavy duty what would you recommend and how much would i be looking at paying. Also how much have people got stock clutchs for.
Thanks
Is that $250 exchanged if you bring them the clutch, or if you give them your car and they take out the stuffed clutch and replace it with a new one and refit it for you. Also does your stock one hold up.
hand it over at the desk and they give you a new one, fit yourself!!
been good so far with 200rwhp, but i have only done 700km on the new drive train, and i haven't been beating up on it as its all new.
i've saved about $500 for a heavy duty clutch because i know that it will be the first thing to go, but hoping thats a way off yet!!
..$250 would be just for the clutch - no fitting I'd say, unless its a very good deal. Probably cost nearly that much again to have it fitted? Know any mates that can fit it? They are not that hard to fit - just a pain in the arse to get to.
