Just wondering can I put an RB25DET engine into a VL and still use the existing RB30 auto. gearbox?
Some guy said that I should just pay a little extra and get the box that comes with the RB25DET

RB30 auto gearbox on an RB25DET?

my Mates got a RB20det in his vl with the RB30 box and it runs **** does the quater in roughly 16 seconds. I'd pay the extra for the box that came with the RB25 but i dont know for sure im just saying that on what i know with the rb20 i could be completly wrong :?

yeah that's my gut feeling too - just go the box as well
if the RB30 motor/box/etc that i'm pulling out of the VL is still in decent nick, how much u reckon i could sell it for?
