I need my VN V8 to pull up. I was racing a little sooped up "**** box" throgh the streets recently and nearly wiped my self out becuase the car wouldnt slow down for a bloody round about.!! it has the standard brakes and they smoke after i have been oding regular city driving? Getting the car to stop is a chore having to reef the brakes right down for at least7-8 seconds before it comes to a complete stop. and it takes ages for the car to do this....it also chews pads like you wouldnt beleive I need some big assed brakes? what would you guys recommend?

my mate runs vt twin spots in his vl ex chaser it pulls up on a dime (has drilled and slotted rotors) at the moment i'm running vl turbo (same as vn v8) and when i called hoppers stoppers they said the vt ones are ****???? and tried to sell me some 3k upgrade??????? after a few hard pull ups my brakes have some serious fade for just a cheap solution i will upgrade to vt as it works good on my mates (under a grand) but u could go full sick and get some ap four spots and have to run big rubber blah blah blah and be faced with a bill for 3k+ cheers chris

How 'bout VP SV5000 brakes and callipers the should bolt straight on.. With the right bracket to support the calliper of course... DBA019s Front DBA020s Rear - Not too sure about their fitment though... Check these out at performanceforums: http://board.performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=14682ac9ebaa2b1da79e58ca0f91ce9c& amp;threadid=67123174 http://board.performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=14682ac9ebaa2b1da79e58ca0f91ce9c& amp;threadid=67122876

go the vt brakes. still a slide set up caliper, but big twin piston jobs vs the small single piston calipers you have now. Youc an get the entire conversion kit under $700 and the calipers are huge (compared to what u have)
