Hi, Was wondering if anyone has installed a berlina/calais electric antenna to a standard executive? I cant imagine that it would be that hard to do. Also i have seen in several berlinas/calais that there is a switch to the left of the instrument cluster that controls the antenna height, would this also fit to a standard executive? Any feeback most welcome

Ive done the aerial, but mine had switch already in it, but putting the aerial in is quite easy.

Yeah the switch just replaces the stock one... too easy Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

the switch on the dash in berlina and calais controls a box which controls power to the aerial to lower and raise it. Not worth the hassle in my opinion, just get a fully auto electric aerial, this will work no worries. the factory aerial only comes up around half way after you switch radio on, you then have to press the button to get it to go fully up every time you turn on car.

Its a prick of a job, belive me, the SL and Exec have to wiring there but there isnt a hole for the bottom mounting bracket, try drilling one with a guard in place, also the module must be fitted and the switch connected. I agree, just get an aftermarket one, they are so hard to fit!

my original aerial's still in there and gets reception but the motors ****ed and has been since i owned it. its low on the priorities, but i'll be getting an automatic one anyway. how do they work? i.e. how do they know when the deck is on tuner?? maybe i can use the leftover switch for adjustable boost? hehe..
