i was just wondering if any of you guys would know how well a standard vlt auto would handle 10psi with an intercooler fitted. also i have a turbosmart duel stage boost controller fitted so i drive around on low boost setting most of the time but i would use 10psi for dragstrip, etc.

I drove mine on 10psi for over a year and had no probs. Make sure you have a desent tranny cooler.

as soon as you wound it up to 10psi you wont wind it back, trust me, once you have wound up your car it is feels like a s l u g on factory boost 10psi just for the dragstrip.......yeah right jetcalais is right -> put on a tranny cooler and dont look back, maybe see a tranny shop can tighten up the shifts a little, overheating is main prob and wear occurs mainly during the shifts (longer shift = more wear) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
