This should have been posted in the Non Turbo section.
Basically the mods you can do before wasting your money on a non turbo are cold air induction, 2.5" exhaust and extractors.
chips, cam's etc are probably a waste of money on an atmo...
Check out the non turbo section for plenty of info on the above mentioned mods...

Anyway, I'm not sure how much difference those mods make, i've had all of that plus heaps of smaller things done (well they came with the car when I got it) -- I was going to look into doing something else, but if I save up a couple of thousand extra and sell this thing, I figure I can get a nice clean turbo that will kick ass over any modded n/a
But then again, exhaust, extractors, a good tune up and getting a pod filter or somthing is a good start. You could try a different cam as well, and changing the diff ratio
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
like JVL said -> extractors and exhaust
maybe look at lowering gear ratio for more acceleration (especially if auto)
thats probably as far as its worth going with an N/A
you can buy for $600 a platinum chamber which is for turbo but you can run it on a non turbo VL. it comes with an XF throttle body and all you have to do is attatch the AFM and then put the air filter on which would sit just near your front bar
