Just had a look at a VH group 3 it had a burgandy dash with a signed peter brock momo steering wheel (red/maroon) is this an indicator that it is an HO brock??????? the steering wheel is the same as my mate who owns the lauruie o'niel 5.8 sle brock. The paint and interior is shagged and has 138ks on it, about how much should i pay for it. Also do thay still have the group 3 fabric for the interior??????? Cheers Chris

The Red Momo wheel on the VH Signifies that it is a High Output version. I think around 9-10 of them were made. VH Grp 3's are selling anywhere between $11,000 and $27,000 I Guess you would have to take in to account the condition and make an asumption based on that.. I would say around the $17,000 mark if it is a genuine HO Example. There is a company in Melbourne who do Brock restorations, paint , fabric, motors, wheels etc etc - but i dont have their detials handy. I will post the details up later this afternoon.

To find out if it is a genuine High output version then it is probably best to give HDT a call on 02 97921911. I have heard of the red steering wheels appearing on non HO cars. The high Output versions are supposed to have a different manifold as well. Corsa

needs paint (2k) some interior stuff and little stuff (around 1.5k) but seriously no one turned up to the auction and if it wasnt for the bloody auctioneer who rung a couple of his mates we could have had it for 3100 his phone call cost us 200 bucks (fricken corkhead). the car sold for around 17k from our local holden dealer in cairns about 5years ago, the bloke who bought it put it into a panel beater and never picked it up (spanker) u had to be looking for the ad cause it was in the public notices, oh well, also found another vh group 3 at a car yard that was traded on the weekend he told my mate he could have it for 3700 we verified it was the real thing (must have traded it for about 2500) by hdt in sydney then the guy (from the caryard) says he was getting offers from len from hdt for 5000 - its a bit dodgy though engine number on wrong side (drivers side bank) running a supra box this car also needs a new paint job has 201ks on it and it running some **** csa 5 stars cheers chris and on another thing my ADP goes to the panel beater at the end of the month and i pick my irmschers up hopefully this week - drop the efi in out of my sle - should be finished by the end of october (fingers crossed)

I will send pics of the build - doing the electrics (for the 5.0 efi) transferring a vl turbo diff and installing the 5.0 and th700. the whole set up is running in my sle. cheers chris

Just found this.... (Please Note: During production of VH "SS" Group 3 a large number of vehicles were fitted with a red version of the 40024 Momo steering wheel.) 40024 is the part number of the VH Group 3 steering wheel.
