Hey, Ive got a couple of broken studs on my exhaust manifold and im gonna buy some easy outs to get them out. This guy at work told me that easy outs are notorious for being brittle and snapping. Is this true? Cheers, Scott

i used ezyouts to get a snapped bolt out of my exhaust housing on my turbo. one thing to be careful is that when u drill the pilot hole , u MUST do it in the centre. bit of a bitch to do too. ive used them for a few odd jobs car and non car related and never had problems with it. just dont go overboard with it and ull be cool

yeah as long as you can get an easy out small enough to go into the hole you drill in the bolt. these bolts are quite small hence the fact you cant drill a very big hole in them. i have never had any problems using them.
