I need to get a deck out of my car (that was in the car when i bought it) so i can get the aerial connection into the back of it, as ive just replaced my aerial. I didnt get any pins to unclip it from the cradel and cant get the connection into the back of it by removing the ash tray and going through there. Will any pins get the cradel out if i can get hold of some, or is there another way i can get it out ?? Thanks Guy Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

the only way to go is the hammer method nah as stoney said use two small flathead screwdrivers to act like pins, the whole screwdriver length needs to be flat also (as you would imagine) to fit into the normal pin slots, bit of jiggling those screwdrivers and you should be able to pump that top 40 junk full blast 8) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Can you actually buy the keys/pins anywhere ?

nah you cant buy them, coz this would alow an everyday car theif to get away with a hefty bag of headunits , as ttx5 said go ask at your local autobarn, or any local car sound store and ask if they can help you out! Yeah someone like Autobarn should be able to help... If that fails, then use something like a bread and butter knife from the kitchen or something similar and flat. One question though.... if you have a CD Player in there, why would you need the radio anyway? Seems alot of trouble to get it plugged in for the sake of dodgy music, constant ads and antiquated technology.

hey dude.. do u have a berlina/sl or what ? if u got a berlina or sl just take the piece of plastic off that sits under the ashtray bit.. (there are 2 screws that screw in from underneath) anyway.. onece u have this out. u should be able to see with a torch. lay down in the drivers side footwell area lookin up there, with ur legs hanging outside the door.. and u will be able to reach up and plug it in.. works for me.

Yeah Ollie is right... But if that fails... just run down to JB Hi Fi or someone and grab an extender.... ya can get them in lengths from like 10cm to 2m... a short one should only be like $15.00.

I went to Autobarn, asked 4 a set of keys for a pioneer headunit and they gave me a free set.
