has any1 done the conversion ?? i know the idea isn't new , but do u have to change crossmember/k frame ? i wanna put a T5 5 speed behind it , what do i use as a crossmember ,aftermarket , vn-vs 5.0l .... just wanna know roughly how much its gonna cost & whats gotta be changed ?? i'll be doing most of the work my self to keep costs down , & more than likely use a vk-l black bottom end with the efi top end ..... also would like to know if i could use a blue motor out of a vh ... i know every1s gonna think im mad 4 wanting to yank out the turbo 6 & go efi v8 .... im not after quick quarters , just a nice street package , for cruising , everyday driving etc ..... if i were to get bored of the power later on , then i'd strap a blower on2 it . for those who comment , much appreciated 8) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

you'd need the engine crossmember from a V8 VL and i thikn that allows you to drop in any holden 5L block. gearbox may need a custom crossmember? if you go EFI you'll have to put a new loom in as well, that could take a while.

HDT still sell a gearbox crossmember for putting the T5 into a VL. (02)97921911 Corsa

ive been told that dellows sells a gearbox crossmember to suit a t5 in a vl .... heard its a bit dodgy looking .... any idea what the t5 crossmember is worth from hdt ? any1 else got any insight on fitting these injected 5 litres ???

You will also need a VN inner gaurd for where the battery goes.
