The other day i checked the codes and here are the results: i got codes 12, 13, 14, and 21 12= MAF circuit open or shorted 13= Coolant temperature sensor 14= Vehicle speed sensor is open 21= Primary ignition signal is not being entered to the ECU during cranking or runnning Here are my questions: Could the fault codes be caused simply by faulty wiring or plugs rather than the parts themselves being faulty? What can i do about the vehicle speed sensor as it is a manual and has a cable drive to the speedo? or is there another wire somewhere i should have a look at? and finally.. What can i do about the primary ignition signal?

is your car playing up at all? If not than reset ur computer and see if the same codes come up. My computer told me my CAS was stuffed, but i haven't had a stall yet, so maybe ur on the right track with faulty wires. Hard to tell!

yeah it has been running like crap, pinging, missing etc yesterday i reset the computer and it improved a tad but soon went back to how it was before. i took the cas connector off the distributor yesterday and it was all corroded inside, i sprayed it with wd40 and cleaned it out properly and ever since then it has been running better than ever, it revs alot quicker, feels more responsive, and accelerates harder

Heh.... know what you mean - I thought my CAS had **** itself, but took the plug off and it was corroded to buggery and back.... Cleaned it up, engine hasn't "died" once since Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
