with the vh brock scoops does anyone know if u can fit normal gauges undernearth them when the bonnet is closed or does the gauges hit the top of the scoop?
The bonnet scoop is probably only an inach and a half high at best underneath , so you would not be able to get gauges under there, unless they were recessed down into the bonnet somehow.
would it work if they were mounthed under the bonnet and cut of the grill **** and only have to gauges face sticking out? does anyone know of anyone who has don't this?? i wanna put gauges on becoz my instrutment cluster ones rn't the best to go by and i don't wanna have gauges hanging out of the boonet becoz of, cop attention (i get enough), look like a mario, and so they rn't that easy to steal
Yes that should work.
You are talking about mounting them in the vents/ next to the bonnet scoop?
I would suggest maybe mounting some on the left hand side of the dash above the passenger side glove box?
Apparently they are all legal unless of course they are obstructing your view. Depending on which state you are in some of the external guages are deemed inapropriate for the road.

I think you'll find you are not allowed to have fuel gauges in the car, unless it has an elctronic signal and fuel is not inside the car, ie you cannot have the gauge in the car with fuel running into the back of it like some do.
Check with the RTA before you do anything like that.
I SAW A GUY AT CALDER WITH A BLUE GROUP A WITH THE SCOOP EXTENDED AT THE BACK AND RAISED A BIT SO HE COULD FIT THE GAUGES UNDER. HARDLY NOTICABLE BUT LOOKED GOOD. MAYBE U COULD DO SOME FIBREGLASSIN. IT LOOKED BOUGHT BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE. HIS PLATES WERE MR HDT. TOUGH CAR. RAN ELEVENS. MINT BODY AND INTERIOR TOO.
