Hey guys.. Sorry if I sound like a tool, but could anyone help by telling me what I need to do on my VL's RB30E to change the coolant without ending up with air pockets that may crack the head? I need to get rid of my old coolant which seems to be changing to a darker colour.. Cheers, Craig.

there is two air bleed bolts to undo when refilling, one next to coolant temp sensor and one on top of manifold. fill radiator with these bolts off then when coolant comes out the lower hole put in the bolt and tighten, keep filling, when coolant comes out top hole tighten it. After you have plugged the lower drain plug you may have to squeeze the top radiator pipe a bit to get the coolant flowing out the top bleed hole. either that or you can blow air into the overflow bottle via the overflow tube. take it for a drive then after a few minutes slowly undo top bolt until water flows out (DO THIS SLOWLY as you dont want coolant pissing everywhere) just open it enough to allow any air out that you missed before, hope you can understand that.
