Anything is possible with money mate, A mate of mine recently did this conversion into a LJ Torana it set him back around $2,000 although for that price he could have got a Ford 9 inch diff but he did'nt want the weight of the 9 inch and besides it's only a 202 red with triples running a supra 5 speed, the set up useing the VL turbo Borg Warner diff runs his brakes and has proven reliable with no more broken diff centres or axels.

..ahhh welcome to my world I'm currently converting my EH running gear to basically VL turbo specs.
I'm fitting the Borg Warner 28spline/4 pinion diff - eventually. It wont bolt straight up, you will need to get it shortened and the mounts cut off and the EH ones welded back on. Its a commonly done so any good diff workshop should be able to do it. Not exaclty sure on price yet as I'm still looking for a diff myself and too many other things to do before that.
You will also need to get the stud pattern changed unless you are running commodore stud pattern already.
Any other info just drop me a line.

..at the moment it has a red 202 bored to 208, XU1 spec cam, yella terra head and triple SU carbies with a Celica 5 speed gearbox and the standard banjo single spinner diff. HR front end with LH torana discs and drums on the back.
I'm in the middle of building an RB30 turbo engine with twin RB20DET turbos, custom intake, intercooler etc.. running through either an MX7 5 speed (if I have the cash) or an RB20DET 5 speed temporarily until it dies. I'm fitting rack and pinion steering, lowered front stub axles and 300mm vented slotted discs with twin spot calipers. For the rear I'm fitting the Borg Warner diff like you are thinking of doing, this will give Commodore spec rear discs as well. I may have to fit a chassis strengthening kit too.
Yeah it goes on and on
I've fitted solex locks to mine and am planning on a Sony Xplod sound system, a couple of SAAS racing buckets for the front and have a couple of 4point racing harnesses I'm picking up today.
I'm hoping to have one of the fastest streetable EH's around when its finished with around 400fwhp/300kw in a daily driven 1964 Holden. Sure there will be quicker EH's around in a straight line but I doubt they will have the streetability of mine when its finished
