I believe that the original VL steering wheel is about about 14.9" (380mm). Is hard to find a decent aftermarket wheel of this size. I would go with the biggest that you can get. Recently i bought a 13.8" (350mm) Momo wheel in Italy. I have a friend that has a smaller wheel and personally i would have gone for a bigger wheel than the 350mm if i could have. Corsa

Hey Guys, It comes down to what your insurance company will let you have. I know i can get away with a 13.8"... I got a MOMO Shadow wheel with the optional pad. Actually if anyone knows about the momo wheels, i wanna remove the bad and just have the regular horn buton in there but when i tried ti fit it, the metal contact for power to the horn button hit the big bolt on the column. Any suggestions? just bend it back out of the way? But yeah anyway i love the 13.8" and wouldn't go any smaller cos i have trouble seeing the tem gauge and also the fuel gauge sometimes.

The Momo horn buttons seem to vary a bit. The original one from my HDT wheel has the earth on the rim of it where as the Momo Race wheel i bought has a seperate cable lug for the earth meaning i have to connect it up somehow or just stick with the HDT centre which the front cover plate doesn't fit over. Don't have any clerance problems with either button though. You might have to bend it and then put some insulation tape over it just in case it may still rub or something.
