If my lifters were buggered would they make a "knacka-knacka' sound when i revved the motor? The sound is very audible as coming from either right inside the rocker cover or resonating through the intake. What would be a reasonable price to pay for a set? My cars done 220000K's, should they be buggered by now? On another note, does anyone know much about the N/A Calais LSD? Mine seems to slip the clutches when i go to stirr it up, and when i go round a slow corner on bitumen it shudders like a bitch. The mechanic said to drop the oil and put some synthetic LSD oil in. I got the oil ($50.00 for two litres!) But my mate reckons you can pack the cones a bit tighter somehow. Is this true? Cheers

When I put lifters in my old VL about a year ago, the best price I could find was about $500 (for all of them) nissan and holden wanted some ridiculous amount, somthing like $70 each!!!!!!!
