Just wondering what is a good price for a SV 5000? My mate has one for sale for $16,500. I thought this was a bit steep.

Depends on the condition, I have looked at acouple instead of going for another VLT. 16,500, the car would have to look pretty good for that money. I had a look at an VN LE Wagon for 11,500 last weekend, it was a good one too. My old man had one back in 91, not as quick as the 5000 though. You'll find the sv 5000 cheaper than 16,500, but they will be in pretty average condition.
