I was just wondering if you have a turbo timer, is it possible to have a kill switch with out having to hang around the car waiting for the turbo timer to turn off the engine? this goes for immobilisers also...just say you park some where and the timer is set for say 3 min, can i just lock the car, immobilise it and walk off while its still running or not?

..you can get alarm systems that are turbo timer friendly and some that actually include turbo timers as part of the alarm system. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

not sure how turbo timers work but are you able to leave the car while that thing goes off? and isit illegal to do this? something about the engine going without anyone in the car? i really have no clue but hey, maybe it'll create a discussion

i think that it just leaves the fuel running for the specified amount of time, and is it true that if you have one running and you dont want to hang around you cant have an immobiliser on the fuel line? but on the ignition, and electrics you can?? im really not tooo sure

the timer just tricks the car into thinking that it is still switched on after you turn it off by supplying power to the ignition.
