Hey is any1 here in to rc cars with me only beeing 17 the only way i get to do drift is in a rc car and to much drifting has lead to my piston ****ting its self does any one know how much i should pay for this and is it worth getting a new motor thx

what type of car is it and what size engine is in it??? that will determine the size, type, cost of a replacement. I got a Kyosho with evrything done to it bar a new engine but the biggest engine i can fit in my chasis is a .017 which generally make around 1hp but O.S. make a race prepped .015 that makes 1.2hp so that is probably what i will go for. your best bet would be to ring a local hobby shop or where you got your car from and they will be able to give you some prices.

go all out and buy a decent nova rossi 21 or the likes , setup with a 2 speed and run about 30% nitro, should be some great drift there

what does a decent 1/10 nitro touring car cost these days.. always wanted one, never bothered to look lately... I bought a TL01 a few years back... had a bit of fun with it but not much good for anything Id be interested in racing but theres not too many people who do it in WA Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey guys - though you might like to know a company called frewer based in NZ make VL, VK, VR, and VT polycarb bodies for RC cars!!! lets see some replicas of your full sized rides hey? 8)

theres a couple of companies now that make these bodies and cough falcon cough bodies , they look pretty ****e but, the new commo ute looks pretty sweet and quite realistic scale wise etc

yer i love me rc cars :P i got 3 merc clk 4wd rav 4 rwd petrol datsun 4wd o and a rc plane i got a spair OS 46max engine i paid 250 for it so depending on what engine u want u could pay from 200 to 1500 just rember dont run more than 15% nitro till u run it in

hey madness have you ever thought about rc drag racing , we have a club here in brissy , we race at the old airport , full lights and timers etc , 1/10th scale nitro and electric. check out www.qmdra.org.au , i think.

hey OVL087 were u at drag combat (just asking becaus ethey had the 1/10th scale r/c cars drag there for diplay, **** the launch so quick , i have a 1/10th scale kyosho monster truck it as 4WD with to electrict engines (one for each axle) 4WS, and independent suspension with dual shocks all round. and it accels so good to. haven't drove her for 2 years now haven't had time to fix some little things Nezza 8) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

just curious, the pull start on mine is stuck in, i figure if i just unscrew the case, pull the cord out put the case on and put it back in slowly it might fix it, anyone else got any ideas? also when mine takes off it just spins sideways, would converting from rwd to 4wd stop this?

nezza yeah that was me driving the (one of) fueller , pretty cool as we were using the lights etc , on a pro start , and my bro pulled a perfect reaction (.400) and all i could maNAGE WAS A .406 , NOT HAPPY , ANYWAY , THAT WAS US AND IF U THINK THEY WERE LAUNCHING , **** , GEUSS AGAIN , WE COULDNT GET ANY TRACTION WHATSIOEVER SO WE WERE ONLY OUT THERE TO PROMOTE OUR CLUB.sorry about the caps lock just realised

OVL087 - your toy car. sounds like a bit of a weapon. i got a kyosho with a tuned pipe, 2 speed, adj. suspension, etc. but its time for a new motor. either a nova-rossi .017 or an O.S. .015. - do you know which would be the better motor, the O.S. is smaller but makes more power.

I ended up getting it fixed it cost 90 buck and the guy fixed it all for me, when i thought off it my RC car is the car that youse all bag its a RICER lol it has a big zorst system that comes out the back a big wing lowerds an chrome rims lol o well can i get the VL kit in Melb??????
