heya's i've seen the VS door pods on vl's and are interested in gettin rid of my 4" and puttin in 6" splits in the VS pods, i got a grey exec interior and wondering how to mount the pods to the doors: do they bolt to the doortrim only? do they bolt to the door metal? does metal need to be cut for the speakers? are they good?

do a search on the forum - there is a few pics in one of the posts. they look good , like they were factory fitted. They are just screwed to your door trim from behind. I had to cut a small (about 30mm x 50mm) peice of metal from my door for the corner of the speaker magnet to fit through but they are easy to fit and look like they are meant to be there !
