Hi, my Vl's headlights have turned really yellowish and quite faint. My parents bought it from new 15 years ago and since then the lights or reflectors havn't been changed. I'm wondering if any of u guys have had similar problems and found out whether its the reflectors that need changing, The lights or both. Thanks

THE MIRROR FINISH INSIDE THE LIGHT ASSEMBLY DETERIORATES AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS, TO GET YOUR LIGHTS UP TO NEW SPEC, YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE NEW REFLECTORS. WHILE YOU ARE AT IT GET SOME HIGH POWER BULBS AND REWIRE THE RELAYS.

Can you do anything to the old reflectors to recover them? Or Are new reflectors relatively inexpensive? I adjusted my lights the other day, and against a wall their allright , but on the road they just don't throw anywhere near enough light. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

the reflectors are plastic.make certian you get a good made type as the big bulbs melt the realy bad made copies. after market types make genuine parts dont pay extra.
