They're on the body work... not the bumpers.

Go the Vaccationer look . A little heat never hurts, just be sure not to get anything too hot, or your paint will become interesting shades. Otherwise slow and steady wins the race, . [not really] Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Its not so much a Holden or Nissan thing... Any car you buy, its an option. Most car manafacturers seem to sell at least one model that comes with them (e.g Vacationer Commodores)

I agree with the hair dryer. The older the pinstripe, and the more sun it has had throughout its life, the harder it will be to remove. Sometimes they just peel off, other times it breaks, and breaks, and breaks, and you just have to be very patient with it. Be aware that the paint on your car may be darker underneath the pin-stripe. You may take the pinstripe off and then have dark lines that run across the middle of your car 8) I used metho to remove some of the residual gum that was left on the car, but my paint job wasnt that great in the first place.... I was only removing the 'double burgandy' pinstripe, to replace it with a 'single teal' pinstripe. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just get a Hair Dryer and a Blade to lift the ends up, should curl up at the ends and then just peel it off, do it slowly and you should be fine... 8)
