I can get a set of front HSV Premium Brakes off a VS club sport that have been cross drilled for cheap. How much is involved in fitting these to my vl as the standard brakes (atmo) leave a little to be desired. I know that VL turbo brakes would be simplist option but I can get these for cheap struts and all.

Lucky *******, the hsv brakes require 17" wheels to fit, the place to get the parts you need to fit them are www.hoppers.com.au Carcrazy

Yeah I found them at the local wreckers. They actually had the rears too (plus a lot of other stuff except the interior) but they weren't anything too special. These are to go on my atmo VL calais as since the head conversion (rb25 head) it stops pretty crap.

you can use the discs. i brought vt twin calipers, hubs, braided lines, persuit ultimate pads, using the original 1" master cylinder and vs 330 discs. can find my receipts out if you need prices.
