yeap brakes are exactly the same, same diff too. get a VL V8 or turbo LSD diff and get 3.89.1 ratio diff, she'll be cookies Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

28 spline lsd at least. ratio is up to you????? the gears in all vl 6's where 3.45, so if you get a vl v8 diff you can cheaply change it to 3.45.

why don't you find out what the skylines with that engine ran i believe it was a 3.89 but not 100%sure someone like R31 Skyline Chick, could probably point you in the right direction.

the skylines used the same borg warner diff with 3.89 ratio. the centre will fit straight into a vl diff housing. All skylines had 4 pinion diffs and lsd was std on sillouette and GTS.

would the sillhouette diff bolt straight onto a VL chassis???? or would the sillhouette diff centre bolt onto the non turbo diff off a VL??

Vl turbo/V8 diff are the same diff except for the crown gears. main different is that the axles are larger (stronger) and that the housing are shorter to fit those discs on. if you try and fit discs to the drum housing your wheels will sit out 1 inch on each side and just scrub the guard.
