dr00, with the bonnet, there should be two rubber stops that can be adjusted, for the side that sits to low, unscrew the rubber stop a little until it sits flush on that side when you close it. For the side that sits to high, just screw the rubber stop in until it sits flush.
If that fails, you can fine tune it by gently twisting the bonnet. The key word when doing this is "gently!!"
Hope this helps you out.
NightmareZVL, As for the boot, you can adjust the latch to get it sitting right, or i think you can adjust the hinges. Don't hold me to that though, but it may be worth investigating further.
Cheers boys.

My boot lid sat up on one side and flush on the other, you could see it was unlevel from behind, so what did i do? Tried to twist it even, now both ends sit up, i bent the bloody lid on both ends now! I gather that they are easy to bend and what probally happens is that people pack the boot full of stuff and try to shut the lid and bend them.
Lets just say there is a brand new lid at holden waiting for me to collect it, only $260, cheaper than getting a rotten old second hand unit and getting it stripped and repainted.

if you cant get them to fit perfectly shoot down to your local panel shop, its their job to get things straight.

yay i fixed it
i undid the bit the latch latchs onto and slide it all the way to the bottom, without taking the bolt out completly then i moved it up until it would latch...
that seems to lower the high side, but now the other side was down a bit, so with the boot lid close i put my fingers between the lights and the bootlid and gently bended the ****er up
thanks for ur advice guys

I had that prob on my old LE - the RHS sat up while the LHS was flush...
My solution was getting a new boot lid outta the trading post ($40) and fitting that.... seemed to work a treat.
Before doing that, I had a tinker with the rubber stops - that did nothing, however the metal bits that stick outta the boot lid that connect to the car body (where they connect) can be belted with a hammer to adjust it good
hehe
that worked, but looked **** & wasn't good for the boot lid - so my answer - get a new boot lid 8)
