I hate to ask the obvious but have you asked Holden? Another way is to go aftermarket, i have a set of berlina lights with the grey parts painted black and they look like group a lights.

nah I haven't asked Holden, I was hoping to pick them up abit
cheaper maybe though somewhere else. I painted sections of

Rare Spares has the tail lights for around $85 a side for calais or berlina style.
Seems to be the going price these days.
I wouldnt know if they are genuine holden or not.
Ive also seen second hand ones going for around $35 each on the forums so keep looking if you want some cheap

dont buy genuine, only morons pay holden for genuine tail lights. find a company that deals DIRECT with the nipponese sweat shops in china and you will get the exact product for 1/8972th the price.
i picked up brand new (in plastic) calais lights (cause ORIGINAL GM ones had faded) for $76 each in Perth, i heard someone over east got them for $65 or something each. so shop around man and good luck!

I was quoted around $40 for good clean used ones, but then i didn't want new ones.
I have managed to score a set of 2 tinted, used ones and a centre peice for $95.
p.s. Thanks Jay

hey all,in perth genuine calais lights are $220 each and berlina lights are about $140 each from holden dealers and there's another place that sells non genuine ones for $68 each and berlina ones r about the same price. They look exactly the same so y buy a genuine holden light and the centre pieces are about $40-$45 each.

28-06-02, 08:31 GMT+10#10 Hey Guys,
A little off the topic, but i got my new tail lights off Jay (Thanks mate) And a centre peice to....
But what i want to know is... do i have to take the rear bumper off to get the centre panel out? and for that matter, back on.
Anyway thanks guys... i'll be doing them tommorrow... hopefully get a few photo's to. Maybe a bit of a video.

28-06-02, 23:09 GMT+10#11 If you are going to buy new tail lights then spend the money on genuine as the aftermarket ones fade real quick and the aftermarket calais ones look like sh!t cause the white lines are never straight they go all over the place. Just my opinion

28-06-02, 23:28 GMT+10#12 my88vl: no you dont have to take the bumper off just take off the whole light assembly, ie. unbolt both tail lights and unbolt the two bits for the centre piece. then you can unscrew/unbolt the centre piece from the tail lights. from memory i think thats it.

I just got my new tail lights in, and they're looking SWEET...
Took me a little while because i decided to take the bumper off again to try and get it straight as after the accident (stupid fence post).
I'll chuck some photo's on here soon.
P.S. Thanks heaps Jay
