As the topic says..
My new car is a series 2 VL Calais Turbo shell, which im putting my n/a engine in until i can save enough pennies for a turbo engine to drop in..
should i :
a) dont use the plates - get some other ones
b) use the plates while the n/a engine is in and change em when the turbo motor get dropped in
or c) keep the plates even with the turbo engine.

Well if you keep the plates with a turbo in there, you will scare the **** outta some people, just make sure you dont have a BOV.

He doesn't even have an engine in the car... so i wouldn't be worried about the BOV...

yeah.. was thinking this.. take off all the turbo badges, put a "electronic ignition" badge on... keep the atmo6 plates and scare some ppl from the lights.. would be fun.. might be less tempting to thieves that way too...

Calais turbo or not... is still temptin
Coz most of the time when they get stolen.. they get rid of the motors or get em restamped for about $200

be the silent achiever man. Drop the turbo in and then keep the plates. Thats the best idea, then your not advertising your car to other people with plates giving the idea it a turbo. No BOV and you wont be hassled by the cops.
Thats the sikkest idea ive heard in a while.
