Hey, quick question - are the manual gearboxes in the N/A VL's the same as the VLT's box (ie, are they both MX7's) but with different cogs in them?

No, they are totally different, the n/a box is called a ME5 and is a spindly little thing while the turbo box called a MX7 is a monster compared to n/a, it is so big you need to fit spacers between the floor and the gearbox crossmember.

True true Doesn't matter now 'cause I've managed to track down an MX7 which is in need of a rebuild - now to put the new motor in Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
