Well im not a happy camper ops: last night i had a headon collision in my n/a VL with a traffic pole!!! the radiator, front right wheel, bonet, head light, battery and various other parts where smashed up!! i want to do as much as i can do reduce the cost of the repairs. Do you guys recommend sending it to a panel beater or try and fix it slowly and painfully by going to wreckers and DIY jobs. I havnt a huge knowledge of panel beating and mechanical repairs. What do u guys think?? :?: :x Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

sorry to hear about your car if you say you dont have much knowledge on mechanics and panel beating spend a while reading up on what you have to by going to the library, browsing the pitstop bookshop and many articles online after a period of time, if a lot of the techniques make sense and you have access to dollys and hammers for panel beating aswell as spanners, a good torque wrench etc for the mechanical side of things and you feel confident of doing the job yourself, then do it. but remember, you wanna do it right the first time....a panel beater and mechanic SHOULD be able to provide that guarantee...well, therye obliged to. so if youre not 100% sure you can do the job yourself then let a professional do it and you may save some money in the end by doing it the right the first time. goodluck Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
