Hey all I was just wondering if anyone would know how much it would cost to slap a turbo on to a N/A VL and how much that will cost. I also would like to know howmuch i would be looking at to get a good VLT motor any help would be great thx alot

Well im in the process of doing a N/A to turbo conversion and so far it has cost me about $1000 and by the time i finish it will be close to the $1500 mark. And thats me trying to do it as cheap as possible. Carcrazy knows his stuff so checkout his site.

i heard about $1500 - $5000 depending on how much you do yourself. You could try getting a real cheap VL Turbo and swapping the parts you need (as in converting a Turbo back to N/A) and selling it for around the same price. But then could also just swap the whole engines over, it would be a bit easier :? . -YLDRYD Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

you can, if you are careful and stick to ~10psi, just put turbo injectors, computer, knock sensor and of course the turbo, on an n/a. some of you may remember me saying i know someone who did it. i believe he is on these boards.. there are a few pics of his old twin throttle body setup floating around. maybe have a chat to him? his name is dave, not sure of his name on here.
