Ok like i did have on calaisturbo site, i have a problem with something draining my battery. STILL. Its been happening over the last 3 months. I have a brand new alternator and battery. I have no cd player or tape deck in but do have wires covered up. Its not the interior light or boot light cos they are taken out to see if it was them. My suspecion may be the glove box light. But would this drain it within 24hrs??? If anyones had the same problem please let me know so i can check it out. Thanks.
Cheers Luke

Do you have an alarm installed on your car ?
if the alarm isnt installed i have heard they can suck your battery pretty fast while the car is off. esp if it goes off a couple of times.
fuse box ?

The easiest way to find the leak is to connect an amp meter in series with the battery, and pull fuses and disconnect anything that may be drawing current, until you find the problem.
Also with the meter you will be able to see what the current draw is.
I would estimate it to be no more than about 300mAh, with an alarm enabled.
If it becomes a real pain in the arse and you cant track it down you could take it to an auto sparky, and see if he can find the source.
But be prepared to pay.

Alarms do tend to flatten batteries, well at least mind used to.
I suppose its a build up of things, im not sure. I put in a new battery, and within 12 hrs it was drained... not sure wtf it was, but i recharged it and disconnected the alarm, and it was sweet.
