Hey Guys, Is anyone here from Brisbane heading down to Springwood Maccas this Thursday night? I didn't go last week because of the rain but it should be all good this thursday. If ya are going, post here and we can all meet up.

Is that where you guys meet on Thursday nights? Or is it a place that all the "vehicular minded" people go? ah won't see me there as my car is a piece of ****! Oh and cops, yeah me no like. :P

I've never seen any of the CT.com guys down there but it is a huge meeting spot for as you say, the vehicular minded. The meeting place used to be sunnybank but that was too close to residential areas and the guys up there were being stupid. So it looks like it moved to Springwood... the nearest house is a fair way off, its all just shops & restraunts... The police attention is there, but only breifly just to make sure no racing is happening. As long as you're just out meeting new people and showing others your car then its all good. And thats what crusies and that are all about anyway. I don't know of any defects ever being handed out there.

Oh yeah Sunnybank. I raced a guy in an R34 GT-t up to about 75 and some old dude in a gold VT started going off at me at the next set of lights! Yeah not my greatest moment. I've stopped doing that sort of stuff altogether. Yeh meeting new people = cool showing people my car = no way! I've never worried about a defect i've been pulled over a bazillion times doing nothing, the most thats ever happened is a check of the spare tyre. Now i bet i've jinxed myself. :roll:

Yeah its not a bad night out... lots of Silvia's, Skylines and Crotch Rockets to... But yeah sunnybank was pretty bad... i got pulled over and had my old mans saab checked out. In the end the guy gave up and let me go.

OMG is that where people meet up? **** i've been there a few times for maccas on fri n sat nights and seen no one, we actually almost got into a fight with some truck ****heads! does anyone go to SPAR loganholme on thur,fri or sat night? or even the hyperdome? please say no one does cos its where all the skanks and tryhard wannabie boyz hang out cos they have no lives! if anyone does hang out there, no offence but its the truth!

I've been down there for a month now and haven't seen anyone from here before. Thats why i was saying if you guys are gonna go down, post here or sms me or something and we can meet up down there. I wasn't thinking anything like a cruise... but i will be at Garden City before i head to Maccas

Alright VKCrazy has me convinced, a cruise it will be. We will meet at Garden City at the top car park at 6:30pm. From there we can head down Logan road and onto the M1 for a breif little stint, where we get off at the Springwood exit.
