My username has changed to green_vs_ss as my other one stoped working........ The engine bay in the r31 will eventually become like the one in the pic as dave is promising to do after the turbo conversion........ I bought a 1997 VS ser2 SS with 60,000kms on the clock the slr5000 was REALLY ruff and needed alot of work to it as the previous owner must have thrashed the heal out of it.....

Yes there was an improvement..... once it hit about 2500 it felt kile something smacked it in the rear because it launches, but only one problem i have with it i cant get the idle below 1000rpm, the throttle feels lighter and the car revs more freely.... hopes this helps

The idle problem. Is it possible that it would be caused by having both throttle bodies with the idle air bypass letting airflow though at closed throttle? Maybe one of them should be blocked up. Corsa

How did you do the twin conversion? I'm in NZ and this is the first I've heard of this mod. Am wondering what'd be like on my RB30E commodore..... Anyone got any links/info? It'd be greatly appreciated Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
