hey im just about to put a manual in to my n/a, and i have the n/a gearbox.
im just not sure if i should get the standard clutch or get the heavy duty one because i know i am gona be doing burnouts.
will the standard one slip alot or is it worth going for the heavy duty.
I'd probably go with the perfomance one if the cost isn't oo much differnet. Just because its better to be safe than sorry. I've only got a std clutch, and iv dropped many-a burnouts and it still holding together ok
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
well a standard clutch is gona be about $200
and the heavy duty one will be about $400
i think i am leaning towards the standard one, because even if i give it heaps there is no way the heavy duty cluch is gona last twice as long(for the price) also if i am gona give it heaps, if the clutch slips, then the only thing i will do is crack the ****s, but the slipping will also create less strain on the gearbox and prolong its hard life.
You're not talking about the turbo clutch are you?
If so,does it even fit onto the atmo input shaft?
My thinking is that the turbo shaft is bigger to take the extra load.

i just brought a PBR heavy duty clutch kit for my n/a vl and it was only $220 here in brisbane.. i'd shop around mate... same clutch at another dealer was $370... i think the reason they were cheaper was because they order in bulk because they are a larger company.. thats why the prices are cheaper.. even the standard one was only $170
jack beedhams in redcliffe is the place i went too...
cheers
