im running winXP and IE 6.026 that comes with XP... i dont get the character set stuff, but for some bloody reason i am still logged out everytime i revist the site.. grrr... im gonna have a check of all the options now.

test page nothing comes up i get queried to download pan-european text display support im on Win98 from home. dont get prompted from work a winNT box

Win2kpro + Ie5 at home... works sweet. NT4 + IE6 at work.... turkish crap always comes up.... I hav no problems logging in at all.

i got win XP and E5 i think it is and i have no probs at all, every now and again i'll get a pop up out of no where and my pop up blocker doesn't block it which is wierd but yeah no probs here 8)

Seems NT 5.x based systems are fine (probably have better character support)... so if a couple of other people could have a quick look at that test page and tell me if they're still prompted it'd be good... I *think* i might know what's wrong with it anyway Mr_Sixty9: You'd have IE6 but anyway, there's NO chance of any popups apearing! Maybe it was some other site... Are cookies working properly for you broomie? You should be recieveing a cookie for this site (make sure they arn't turned off)... I know i've had problems with another phpbb2 board before at another site not remembering me.. i'll look into it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah i get the problem too, win98 and ie5. When i went to the test page, it was fine. I also have to login everytime i come to the site also....

ok, i still have the login problem, but now ive added in IE options to auto accept any cookies from this site.... ill see if that works :?

Check you're cookies are set right -- tools >> internet options >> click the privacy tab >> then check the 'advanced' button, override the cookie settings and make sure both are set to accept Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

im running winME it keeps me logged in ok...... just a thought here.....when you say it doesnt keep you logged in,you arent hitting the back button on the browser are you? it sounds like a silly question,but i thought i should ask.... please feel free to abuse me if you need to Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

and just in case you hadn't noticed, when you are logged in the login link at the top^^ doesnt change to logout It still logs you out though, i just havn't put a new image up for it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I have Win2000 pro at home with IE 6 and Win NT4 with IE 6 at work, home is turkish and work is pan european, i tried the test page and no boxes appeared... Pete
