Hey fellow ct members. My girlfriend was involved in a car crash this afternoon, the traffic stop suddenly in front of her and she managed to pull the up the car in time. The car behind her slammed straight in to the rear of her pushing her into the car in front. Just wondering if anyone ha been in this situation before and weither my girlfriend is to Blame for the car in front or the driver that hit her is to blame for her car and the car in front? Any info would be awesome Cheers Stelios.

that's an easy one, the driver behind her is deemed 'at fault' were the police called, did they attend and issue a ticket to anyone?

Hopefully it will be all good only thing I was worried about that they would try say that she didnt leave enough room between cars but then again the car behind did hit her doing 50kph or so. Yer mate police was called and they made a full report. But no tickets were issued. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Do you have insurance? If so - ensure they know her side of things (ie, she stopped, old mate behind hit hard), and let insurance sort it out.

Its always safer to call the police in a smash, that way they write it up in there report an should be able to tell ya who was in the wrong.
