Do the XF s1 (65mm) throttle bodies bolt straight up to the vl inlet manifold? Or do you have to make up an adaptor plate or something. From the pics I've seen they look like the blot straight up, its only the s2 (68mm) that have to be modded.
Also where exactly do you measure the diameter of the throttle body? Do you measure it at the back (where it attaches to the inlet manifold) or the front (where the air pipe connects) or do you measure the actual butterfly? Cos I got an XF tb today which the wrecker thought was a s1 but it doesn't bolt up and the front measures 72mm and the back measures 66mm....
Maybe they gave me a s2 tb.....
There have plenty of threads about this, including one about a month ago in this same thread.
you will need to do some porting to the plenum, as it is no use bolting up a bigger tb when your plenum intake size remains the same.
bresciani charge 250 to fit it to a standard vl turbo plenum....
they also need to modify the throttle cable.
give em a call and have a chat to the experts.

I was asking about if the bolt holes in the throttle body line up and bolt straight to the bolt holes in the inlet manifold, not how to port it and hook it all up. I have already done a search and know how to do most of it.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
