Hey, I dont normally post here coz I dont have a VLT , but I recently supercharged my S2 87 VL, anyways....... would it be beneficial to run the turbo ecu with turbo injectors ? As far as I know, its forced induction like a turbo, its on 6 psi like a turbo...... so would a turbo ecu and injectors help?? or is does the turbo ecu do other things for the turbo itself?
I didnt know where else to post, sorry if its in the wrong spot
thnx

would be the same for a SC, more fuel and less timing once airflow meter gets flowing lots (ie. boost). then you will have room for 14 psi boost later.

yes but as SirGeo is no doubt implying, more fuel doesn't necessarily mean more power. still, i reckon it'd be a good idea, the blower may be causing a bit of lean running. but then again, if it's been going this long without problems, it might be fine.
Get a dyno graph to see how much boost you can run and in what weather conditions on the n/a setup. Ide do a turbo conversion, (fuel pump, ecu, injectors) to say the least. You might want to look at the driveline as well if you planning on making more power.
If you do a turbo ecu conversion - its recommended that you get it dynoed as well just to check the A/F Ratios and timing.
When I brought my VL it had the Turbo in the boot sitting in a box..... So I decided I wanted to fit a S/C from CRS for $1800...The reason was the car ran like sh*t and I though it was going to cost a furtune to put a turbo back on the car (as the one in the boot was fu*ked)...
So I went to a mechanic and told him of my plans. He informed me that fitting a S/C wasnt going to fix the car as its set up for a turbo. The ECU for a turbo waits for the boost. A S/C be it running at 6psi is 6psi across the rev range....A turbo set at 6psi will cut in (boost) at a particalar rev....The ECU takes care of that...
I would talk to someone who knows the ins and outs for what you want. As I have found out turbo's arnt that expencive in the big picture
dont agree too much with that, as the VLT is AFM controlled, the ECU has no idea of boost. more air = more fuel. it will be way closer than the NA set up.
So I dont need a ECU built for a turbo??????..... Just a AMF for a turbo?????
I thought the AMF are both the same on the n/a and turbo........

No should be easy to find one, you can get reco ones as well....would that be correct master exchaser???
