i have 2 sony xplod 600max watt subs and i need to know what type and size box i should make for them. also, should i mount them both on the same face of the box or would it be better to mount them at either end of a more tube shaped box?

from memory xplod subs work best in small sealed enclosures.Check the sony website out for this. By far the most recomended way to mount two subs is on the same side, and firing/faced towards the back if it is a hatch. the best thing to do if you are interesred in car audio is buy mags and books which cover tech articles. you can also just look at the pics and see what others have done.
