For all you guys out there wondering about the VL SV F20. I can tell ya what i know. I know that there was only four ever made. two of them were shipped off to america....dont know where the **** they r now. The third was written off and crushed... And the last one is still going strong. yep a guy i know owns the last one, and he had it fully restored after he wrote it off whilst t boning a ute when he came out of an intersection and lost it. It is a turbo,,,not sure of specs....in Marinello red... Body includes front, rear sides door panels, bonnet scoop and rear wing.

http://pascale.customer.netspace.net.au/vl/vlf20.htm This site has the info and pic that appeared on the HSV site many years ago. The pic is actually of one of the red cars. They had all the lower Walky skirts and the SV88 rear wing. Corsa

I would have said that your mate owns the copy according to HSV anyway. Build CC 003 - Turbo Auto - Maranello Red. Just because the blue ones supposeably went overseas doesn't mean that they didn't come back. The first Two HDT VL Directors went overseas and they are both back in the country. Corsa

unless your a collector has got to have everything, i dont find a real value in the car itself. Looks are bland and the motor is nothing to sneeze at. Ide rather an aero or director. Is it just me, or has the VL got the most variety in terms of dealer models? i think they are around 12-15 of them. What would the list be like? -Exec -Berlina -Nitron -Sport -Calais -LE -Corsa -Aero -Director -Group3 -GroupA -SV88 -Walkinshaw -FV20 Thats 14 counted..... anymore?! All great cars.... HDT was certainly paving the way for the car enthusists who wanted modified cars yet still could have warranty.

Agree with Darkstar here. The SV20 thing is a bit bland looking IMHO. Much prefer a Calais or Director etc
