AFM, Fuel pums, tune etc.. questions
16 Sept 2016Z32 or Q45 AFMs are good upgrades, be wary of copy Z32s though, only buy genuine. Copies are absolute garbage. Z32 is especially good due to having the same plug as RB30.

From what ive seen it looks like you've actually learnt alot from this thread..
They're not the "same box", they're very similar. Neither in good condition will have a problem with that power level.
Factory FPR will be fine.
Doing the head outside of the car is really easy too. Just replace as many gaskets/seals as you can while its out. Saves you loads of headache in the long run.
If your existing N/A bottom end is healthy there should be no need to build it for a reliable 250-300kw. Budget = ARP studs, decent cam and a good head gasket. Worst case flip it over and do bearings…

T04s are nothing but an ancient diesel turbo anyway. Only real plus side to running one is the strength (assuming its not chinese) Plenty more efficient turbos for good prices
Any pictures mate? And are you willing to post
If you're on a tight budget why go microtech? A Nistune board costs $250.
