vx ss running lean, please help
1 Mar 2012Check the PVC hose that goes to the drivers front of the inlet manifold, they are very common to split on vt2-vy1 & they cause a vacuum leak = lean.. Hope this helps

11 Sept 2010Can also be an earth problem but if it is making a grinding noise it will definitely be the starter, but also check your ring gear/ flywheel teeth for damage cause it could also have damage.
where is a knock sensor mounted on 5litre holden
11 Sept 2010It's meant to be mounted on drivers side of the engine block but it will only have one if it is a hsv engine or a roller cam engine eg; vs series 3 ute or vt series 1, hope the helps
