8 May 2006The tone changes because of the power drain on the motor. The only thing to do is to buy a new fuel pump around $120 i think, i did that and now my only whines (loudly) when it is below 1/4 tank.

7 Dec 2004weeelll, under "controlled traffic environments" (4am) i raced a 4L Ford ute with 4 people in my VL, which is pretty stock...I won of course. Yet it was very close.
